I’m told we sing like pendulums.
If that’s the case will all this division swing back to collective care?
When we all begin to truly feel that our current systems don’t serve us, the 99%, will we finally turn to our neighbours for support?
And will we offer our support in return?
Did the pandemic isolate us, yet also initiate us, moving us closer to the land, to ourselves, to one another?
So we can grow, connect and support each other?
So we can be in communities that hold us?
So we can buy from one another, build with one another, and trade with one another to be less resilient on the corporations that fuel these horrific wars?
So we’re less likely to be distracted by intentional diversive ploys.
Less likely to get caught in calculated traps.
Will the isolation swing us closer to collective appreciation?
Please say yes.
Please say you’re doing your part to the best that you can.
Please say you’re tending your own garden so others can eat.
Please say you’re trying to smile.
Please say you are not alienating others on first impressions.
Please say you’re open to learning from those you admire, and those you don’t.
Please say you can accept your own wrongs, and those of others.
Please say that when things feel so fucking horrific, you are still looking for love.
Please say.
